मलेशिया के अधिकारियों ने 24 टन हाथीदाँत की तस्करी का परदाफाश किया, जिसमें हज़ार से भी ज़्यादा हाथीदाँत बरामद हुए।

2. The ivory also must be air-conditioned to prevent the tusks from cracking or becoming brittle (important factors for attracting higher prices).

हाथीदाँत को भी वातानुकूलित रखना चाहिए ताकि हाथी के नुकीले दाँतों में दरार न पड़े या वे भुरभुरे न हो जाएँ (उच्च मूल्यों को आकर्षित करने के लिए ये महत्वपूर्ण कारक हैं)।
